CENTRAL UNIT (CU)

- Controls all DAMs and logs data in removable microSD card
- Can generate CU status alarms on 2 dry contacts
- Sends E-Mails and SMS in case of alarm/event
- Interfaces through USB or LAN to the PC that operates the BATTMASTER® SW
- Can operate autonomously in case of mains failure up to 1.5h

A CU includes:
a) 1x 4GB microSD card
c) 1x USB type B port
d) 1x LAN RJ45 socket
e) 2x dry contacts interface for CU status.
f)  1x connector for external power supply (5Vdc/500mA)
g) 1x Quad band GSM module

Technical data:
- Radio frequency: 868MHz - license free ISM band
- Communication range: up to 100 meters outdoor, up to 50 meters indoor (environment   dependent)
- Max. number of devices: 64 IDAM, 1024 (50 for "LITE" version) DAM
- Power needs: 5VDC/0.5A (external); internal power back-up for 1 hour
- Refresh rate: user settable from 1 minute up to 1 day
- Data storage capacity: ~10 years data for 300 batteries and 20 minutes refresh rate

DATA ACQUISITION MODULE (DAM)

One per each battery (cell) to be monitored.

Technical data:
- Available models: L - for 2V cells, H - for 6V and 12V batteries
- Measures the battery temperature (-20/+80°C, ±2°C)
- Measures the battery voltage (H type: 5 -18V, L type: 1.5 - 5.5V)
- Measures the battery internal resistance (Ri=1-300 mΩ, ±10% or ±1mΩ), with   Kelvin wiring
- Protected against reverse polarity, internal short circuit and over voltage
- Power consumption (typical): L type -> 80mA @ 2V (Sleep Mode: 9mA)

                                            H type -> 30mA @ 12V (Sleep Mode: 4mA)

CURRENT DATA ACQUISITION MODULE (IDAM) - OPTIONAL

One per each string (or battery) is used for current monitoring.

Technical data:
- Measures the string (or battery) current
          Current ranges: -40..40A or -300..300A
- Power supply: 12..16VDC/0.6W (supplied from external power supply)
- Measurement accuracy:
 40A Range: (0...40A) ±(1.5% + 0.4A)
 300A Range: (0...200A) ±(1.5% + 2A)
