TDK-Lambda Southern Europe, part of TDK-Lambda EMEA group, belonging to WW TDK group, a world leading company in Power Supplies, is looking for resources to reinforce its R&D department, with aim to boost existing position for nonstandard power supplies in sectors like Industrial, ATE, Quasi military.

Open position researched: Title: Technical assistant R&D department

The  candidate will perform the following main tasks:

• Be one of the operators for the handling of the PLM system, a digital platform for project life cycle of products.
• Be the link between R&D team and TLSE sales dept for all the administrative tasks linked to the P+S opportunity
• Be the interface between PLM and LN system, by handling all the TLSE P+S activity (Power supply + Solution), originated from all the TLSE entities from the item creation to the final production

The ideal candidate should have the following skills:

• Attitude to work in a team spirit, by dealing with internal and external customers on a daily basis.
• Keen to work in dynamic and motivated environment.
• Preferably to have technical skills or background developed in a similar role.
• English Language is a must in listening/understanding/speaking fluently. French language is a plus.
• To have been part of an engineering group (plus).

The selected candidate, in addition to the main tasks mentioned earlier, will have to collaborate on a daily basis with R&D colleagues by doing as follow:

1. Managing incoming P+S orders from the beginning of the activity till the end of DR# phases (from incoming orders till the full delivered production).
2. Tracking and managing all the activities linked with STD TDK-Lambda products, in collaboration with TLSE customer service, EMEA warehouses and TDK-Lambda factories.
3. Be actively involved in all the DR# phases, by helping and contributing to speed up all the activities related with design phases, such as creating the BOM (electrical, mechanical, assembly and so on), ordering and looking for components and so on.
4. On a weekly basis, tracking ongoing P+S productions with our Sub-contractors/factories, with the aim to match desired Leadtime, and then issuing a weekly report, in agreement with the R&D manager, to all the TLSE sales force.
5. During the prototype phase, be involved in helping engineers in activities like gathering all the components needed, helping in collateral activity like harnesses creation, issuing tests reports, tracking list of tools, and generally speaking all the R&D activities which are not requiring a very deep technical knowledge.
6. Take responsibility of inhouse repair activity, which requires the tracking of all the P+S RMA phases, till when the repaired products are released to the logistic area.
7. Being involved into PLM/LN/R&D processes, the candidate has to be prepared in quality tasks, like internal and external audits, collaborating with the R&D team in preparing him/her self to be ready for.
