Over TDK-Lambda

TDK is a supplier to some of the most diverse, technology based and original equipment manufacturers worldwide including global organisations within the Industrial, Medical and Test & Measurement markets.

An exciting position has arisen for an Internal Sales Coordinator within our internal sales team, reporting directly to the Internal Sales Team Leader. This role would suit a well organised individual with experience of providing support to direct customers, Intercompanies and distributors as part of a busy team. 

The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

• Process customer orders and amendments
• Liaise with other departments across Europe to ensure customer requirements are met and exceeded where possible. 
• Generate Quotations: supply pricing and supporting information to customers to secure new business.
• Provide excellent customer support over the phone and by email
• Report analysis: proactively look for improvements in supply chain for customers
• Work with Commercial Regional Managers and colleagues to provide excellent customer support

Working week:   Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 17:00 / Fridays 8:15 – 12.45 with the requirement to work until 2.30pm every 4th Friday.  37.5 hrs per week

Skills required:  Ability to work as part of a team and prioritise workload, allowing for   unexpected ad-hoc requirements. Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail. Competency in Microsoft Office (excel and access specifically). Strong communication skills. 

Qualifications and experience required: 

• Sales and/or Administration Experience
• Manufacturing experience is desirable, preferably in the Electrical Power Supply industry.
• Previous experience in a customer service role is desirable.
• Experience in a fast-paced Manufacturing environment is desirable.

Salary:    Starting at £24,842 per annum
