We are looking for: Assembly Operatives - Shifts

Who we are: Electronic components are found in nearly all electrical devices and are indispensable for their proper function.  TDK is a leading manufacturer of these key products.

Your future responsibilities: 

• To ensure that products are assembled to quality standards
• To be able to work alongside other team members to ensure daily targets are met 

Skills and qualifications (full training will be given):

• Complete ESD awareness training
• Be aware of how to find relevant risk assessments and demonstrate understanding and compliance
• Experience in manufacturing would be beneficial
• Be able to explain and deliver department 5S routines - clean and tidy area
• Understand and demonstrate safe manual handling techniques
• All tasks require high levels of dexterity and attention to detail

Standard Hours of work – 37.5 hours per week

Alternating Shifts*

Week 1 – Mon to Fri – 6am to 2pm

Week 2 – Mon to Fri - 2pm to 10pm

(*Shift premium would be payable)

Salary: Starting at £24,862 per annum + shift premium

Interview Process & Start Date

• The interview process would comprise of a dexterity test followed by an interview if dexterity test is passed.
• Total time for dexterity and interview would be 1-1 ½ hours.
• You would need to be available for the dexterity test and interview on either 14th or 15th September 2026.
• Start date for the position would be 5th October 2026
• You would need to be available for 2-3 weeks from the start date from 7.30am - 4.30pm whilst attending a Training Academy.
• Following this Training Academy you would then move to shift work.
