Assembly Operator
Location : Ilfracombe
Due to continued expansion and development in our production department, we have an ongoing need to fill this role.
In order to support production within our factories there are vacancies available in PCBA and Factory 2. This is a flexible role and the successful candidates will be expected to cover different aspects of production across both factories in order to support the business requirements and meet customer demand. All tasks require high levels of dexterity and attention to detail.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Assemble a wide range of products in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintain a high level of quality standards at all times
- Maintain 6S standards at all times
- Ensure the Health and Safety of yourself and others at all times
Skills and qualifications required (full training will be given):
- Have completed ESD awareness training and can demonstrate understanding of how to manage according to company procedures to maintain product safety.
- Be aware of how to find relevant risk assessments and demonstrate understanding and compliance with same.
- Communicate effectively with other departments across the factory on a range of matters.
- Be able to explain and deliver department 6S routines - clean and tidy area.
- Understand and demonstrate safe manual handling techniques- complete e- learning and practical validation.

All training/induction will be provided as applicable.
The successful applicant will work a 37.50 hour week and Flexitime will not be applicable.
Hours of work: - Monday to Thursday 7.30 am – 4.30 pm.
Friday 7.30 – 12 Noon.
The starting salary for this role is £23,883 per annum and full training will be given.
