Location : Cinisello Balsamo, Milan, Italy
TDK-Lambda Southern Europe, part of TDK-Lambda EMEA group, a world leading company in Power Supplies, is looking for a resource to reinforce his R&D department, with aim to boost existing position and better answer to the market inquiries for non standard power supplies in sectors Industrial, ATE, Quasi military.

- Design or well known knowledge in the field of mechanic, such as work metal sheet metalwork, metallic boxes, racks, heatsinks and, generally speaking, mechanical items. Experience in thermal design and flow design are complementary to this activity.
- Detailed design of mechanical parts including drawing of wound components.
- In a working team, to contribute actively to feasability, developing and cost for customized or value added (P+S Solutions) AC/DC power supply and/or DC/DC solutions tailored to customer requirement.
- Capability to prepare technical documentation for products development, including drawing, files and documentation for production, as well as for prototype, by following internal TDK–Lambda procedure and generally ISO 9001 procedure.
- Support on existing products with engineering investigations and/or modifications.
- Capability and/or knowledge to write down procedures for assembling / wiring / building up blocks belonging to projects.
- In a working team environment, to deal with external partner or subcontractor to organize and plan external production, including preparation and arrangement of documentation for prototype stage and production, such as electrical and mechanical BoM.
- Actively contribute to the global Quality targets, by preparing internal and external audits.
- Being part of a worldwide group, actively be in touch with TDK-Lambda community to cooperate with other teams for joined projects.
- Age from 25-45 years old; graduate into mechanical or mechatronic school or higher level of school education with mechanical and/or mechatronic address.
- To have designed or to have been part of engineering group who has designed mechanical frame or infrastructure belonging to power supply and/or power energy conversion system with at least one past experience in a similar activities or good practice into mechanical CAD design.
- Practice into CAD/CAE system like SolidWorks 2D and 3D, PADS layout (after training as necessary).
- To have possibly worked out in design a power supply or power system and got familiarity with sketch, wiring diagram and capability of drawing of the layout and thermal dimensioning of the components.
- Deep or good knowledge of Safety rules like EN60950 and, generally speaking, the ability to design power supply system in respect of principle of safety rules.
- To have carried out secondary school or university with specific address of mechanic / mechatronic.
- Knowledge of SolidWork 2D and 3D.
- Knowledge or good practice into PADS schematic and layout.
- Good knowledge of English and/or France language written and spoken.
- Good knowledge or a sound mechanical background with suitable design experience in mechanical stuff and mechanical layout.
- Team building oriented.
