Internal Sales Coordinator

A vacancy has arisen within the Sales office for a Sales Coordinator reporting to the Internal Sales Team Leader. This role would suit a well organised individual providing support to direct customers, intercompanies and distributors along with the ability to work effectively as part of a busy team. Previous experience working in a Sales or Customer Service Department or similar would be an advantage.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Process customer orders and amendments
- Liaise with other departments across Europe to ensure customer requirements are met and exceeded
- Generate Quotations: supply pricing and supporting information to customers to secure new business.
- Provide excellent customer support over the phone and by email
- Report analysis: proactively look for improvements in supply chain for customers
- Work with Commercial Regional Managers and colleagues to provide competitive customer support
Skills and qualifications:
- A key aspect of the role will involve dealing with internal & external customers therefore a friendly and confident telephone manner, alongside excellent communication skills are essential
- As well as working as part of a team, the ability to work alone, react to changing targets and be able to prioritise tasks is crucial to this role
- Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure is essential
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Particularly CRM, Excel & Word) and the confidence to learn internal software programs & procedures
- Previous experience in a similar role, whilst not essential, would be an advantage
The basic annual salary for this role is £23,929, and the working hours will be 37.50 pe week, as follows:
Hours of work: - Monday to Thursday 8.15 am – 5.00 pm.
Friday 8.15 – 12.45 pm, with cover until 2.30 pm required once every 4-5 weeks
