IT Support Engineer

Location : Ilfracombe, North Devon, UK

We are looking for an IT Support Engineer with prior experience of working in a busy IT Department. The successful applicant will be working as part of a dynamic and friendly team to deliver support to our employees primarily across our UK sites based in the South West. 

Main Duties and Responsibilities 
As part of a team you will be responsibility for: 
  • Supporting Servers, Desktops, Network and Voice equipment 
  • Using Helpdesk software to support our employees 
  • Diagnosing and resolving hardware/software problems 
  • Installing/Upgrading core hardware and software.  
  • Ensuring correct software licensing 
  • Ensuring the security of company systems 
Skills Qualifications and Experience 
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of administrating: 
  • Microsoft Active Directory 
  • VMware ESXi 6.5 
  • Microsoft Windows (Desktop and Server) 
  • Additional IT Skills of benefit, although not essential include:  Microsoft SQL Server Administration, Microsoft Office, Networking (Switches, VLAN, Wireless), Backup Software Concepts, IP PBAX telephone systems
Salary and Terms of Employment:
Salary to reflect experience, above statutory pension contributions
